Opening her path to the future on her own,
the story of Princess Ariel will give you courage and hope.
Ariel, a girl full of curiosity, embarks on a journey with her childhood fish friend, Flounder.
One day, Ariel goes near a sailing ship, and finds Eric, the human prince. She instantly falls in love with him. However, the ship gets caught in a storm, sinking in front of her eyes, and Eric is thrown out to the sea. Holding the drowning Eric in her arms, Ariel desperately swims towards the surface of the sea. She drags him on to the shore, and sings while taking care of him. Although Eric was still in a daze, Ariel’s beautiful singing voice was etched into his memory. He is attracted to the voice which has saved him, and sets his heart to finding the woman who owns the voice.
Meanwhile, Ariel’s longing for the world above and her love for Eric kept growing even more, despite her father Triton’s warnings. And it was Ursula, the witch of the sea, who then set her eyes on her.
Ursula presents a deal to Ariel saying “In exchange of your beautiful voice, I can turn you to human for three days only. And if Prince Eric kisses you within these three days, you can remain a human”. But she also adds that if Ariel cannot kiss Prince Eric within the three days, her soul will belong to Ursula. Ursula tricks the confused and conflicted Ariel, and finally makes her sign the agreement. Ariel’s flippers turn into human feet as she heads to the world on land which she had always dreamed of.
Ursula was actually the sister of King Triton. She had been jealous of her younger brother who had banished her from the kingdom, and had been plotting to take her revenge using his beloved daughter Ariel’s young love, and to take away his power for herself.
Not knowing any of this, Ariel reaches the human world and is invited to the castle by Prince Eric. However, having her voice taken away, she has no way to let him know that it was her who saved him and that she is the “Voice” that Eric is searching for.
The time limit for Ursula’s deal approaches. What will become of Ariel’s love?
